Our Values

The Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club strives to instill our belief in these core values to everyone and everything our club is associated with.

Humility – It’s knowing who you are. It’s not thinking too highly of yourself but not thinking too little of yourself either.

Passion – Do you have the hunger to compete, to excel, and to be enthusiastic about the opportunities to do so? Will you be passionate when you don’t feel like it?

Unity – The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Volleyball is a sport in which a team can come together and achieve greatness even without having the greatest individual talents.

Servanthood – Serving the team by knowing your role and sacrificing as needed to make your teammates and your team better. It’s a key element to unity and greatness.

Thankfulness – Being thankful not only involves being grateful when things go well but also being thankful for what you learn during the hard times.

Commitment – This means being ALL-IN! and wanting others to subscribe to the mission. We recognize the importance of working together, controlling the things that we can control and having fun with the process.
